Fargo, ND (2017) – Sarah Koustrup, Executive Vice President, National Hospitality Services (NHS, LLC), has been named to the Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) People Committee. The international committee meets quarterly provide feedback, evaluate and update IHG’s employee education and training programs. “The group’s focus is on employee development, providing employees the skills and tools necessary to provide a truly outstanding guest experience,” Koustrup says. “IHG’s continued commitment as a brand to employee education separates them from the competition and provides an enhanced experience to hotel management and owners.” The international committee has varied influences, with approximately 20–25 representatives across several continents in a variety of senior hospitality-industry positions including owners and executives. Conference calls supplement quarterly meetings as the group implements ongoing program initiatives. “I appreciate the opportunity to work with this diverse group of talented individuals. Koustrup oversees a dynamic team managing 24 hotels across the country. Koustrup has over 15 years of leadership and management experience, a bachelor’s degree in human resources management and business administration; and a masters’ certification in hospitality management from Cornell University.
