FARGO, ND (September 14, 2018) Sarah Koustrup, formerly the Executive Vice President of National Hospitality Services (NHS, LLC), has been named as the company’s Chief Operating Officer.

“Sarah’s unique focus, communication skills and discipline make her an ideal fit for this position,” said Norman Leslie, president of NHS. “Sarah will be expanding her leadership role with our company, working with our owners to streamline reporting and communications, overseeing the continued expansion of our team, driving growth opportunities, and handling relations with the many hospitality brands we work with.”

Koustrup has been a part of the team at National Hospitality Services since 2012 – serving first as Human Resources Director and then Vice President of Human Resources before moving into the Executive Vice President role in 2016. Born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, Koustrup holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, a master certification from Cornell in Hospitality Management with a focus on Financial and Hotel Revenue Management and has more than 17 years of leadership and human resources management experience.

As the company’s Chief Operating Officer, Koustrup will oversee leadership of NHS’s growing team and portfolio, which now includes more than 40 corporate staff members in Fargo, 150 staff across the country in 28 hotels spanning 12 states. She will also be spearheading new initiatives to foster company growth, streamline operations and stakeholder relations, and expand NHS’s Culture of Performance.
