FARGO, ND (February 1, 2018) Sarah Koustrup, Executive Vice President of National Hospitality Services (NHS, LLC), a hotel management company based in Fargo, ND, has been appointed to serve on Marriott’s Delta Hotels Owners Council and InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) People Committee for 2018.
“I know Sarah will be a great asset to both of these committees,” said Norman Leslie, President of National Hospitality Services. “We couldn’t be more proud of her achievements, and look forward to seeing the all great contributions she’ll make in supporting the Delta and IHG brands.”
As a member of Marriott’s Delta Hotels Owners Council, Koustrup will serve alongside a team of hospitality industry professionals to advise and partner on strategic issues related to Marriott’s new Delta Hotels brand. The council works to support Delta Hotels properties by providing feedback on current and upcoming brand initiatives to strengthen growth, elevate brand loyalty and enhance the business model.
“All of us here at NHS have been so excited to be a part of Marriott’s expansion of the Delta Hotels brand into the United States,” Koustrup said. “After being a part of converting and launching two Delta Hotels properties – with a third soon to follow – I’m ready to put that experience to use supporting the brand and helping support its continued growth and success.”
Koustrup will also be serving another term on IHG’s People Committee, after previously serving on the committee in 2017. The international committee, comprised of 20-25 representatives from across several continents and a variety of senior hospitality-industry positions, meets quarterly to provide feedback, evaluate, and update IHG’s employee education and training program.
“I’m very excited to be serving another team on the IHG People Committee,” Koustrup said. “This group of talented industry leaders does amazing work to support IHG managers and owners, and shows a deep commitment to pushing employee education forward – always with the objective of enhancing the guest experience and supporting the hotel team members who make everything we do possible.”
