Fargo, ND (January 9, 2018) Norman Leslie, President of National Hospitality Services, a hotel management company based in Fargo, ND, has been appointed as the Vice Chair of InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) Extended Stay Committee for 2018.
“I’m honored to have the chance to work with such an outstanding team on this committee,” Leslie said. “National Hospitality Services has a long history with IHG, and particularly with their extended stay brands, so I’m excited to put that experience to work supporting IHG’s extended stay portfolio.”
Leslie will serve alongside a team of industry leaders to provide advice and counsel on programs that drive cost efficiencies for Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites properties across the country. The committee also works to engage with the brand to provide additional advice on optimization and roll-outs of new initiatives.

Leslie has over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, starting as a front desk representative and working his way up through the business. He has acquired and managed more than 20 hotels so far over the course of his career, and serves on a variety of regional and national boards, including previous terms on IHG’s People Committee and Staybridge Suites Committee.
