Fargo, ND (November 1, 2018) Norman Leslie, President of National Hospitality Services, a hotel management company based in Fargo, ND, has been appointed to the 2019 Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) Owners Association’s Global Board of Directors as a Member at Large for the Americas region.
“I’m honored to have the chance to work with such an outstanding team on this board,” Leslie said. “National Hospitality Services has a long history with IHG, so I’m excited to put that experience to work supporting IHG properties around the globe.”
Leslie will serve alongside a team of industry leaders in the IHG Owners Association to partner with IHG on initiatives to improve revenue for hotels, strengthen the value of IHG’s brands and enhance guest experiences throughout the IHG portfolio of hotels. The Association represents the interests of owners and operators of more than 3,500 IHG hotels worldwide.

Leslie has over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, starting as a dishwasher and working his way up through the business. He has acquired and managed more than 20 hotels so far over the course of his career, and serves on a variety of regional and national boards, including previous terms on IHG’s Extended Stay Committee, People Committee, Candlewood Suites Design: Owners Task Force, and Staybridge Suites Committee.
