GREEN BAY, WI (April 26, 2018) The Ramada Plaza in Green Bay, WI recently began an extensive renovation and conversion to Delta Hotels by Marriott Green Bay. As a part of the renovation process, they are making a large donation to Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity ReStore in the form of furniture and fixtures which are being replaced during the renovation process.

“We are so fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful community here in Green Bay,” said Chadd Scott, General Manager at Delta Hotels by Marriott Green Bay. “As we work to transform our hotel, we knew we had a great opportunity to give back to the community that has supported us for so many years.”

Materials donated by the hotel include most of the furniture and fixtures from approximately 100 guest rooms, plus furniture from the lobby, outdoor patio area, and meeting areas. These items will be sold at Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity ReStore, with money generated from their sale being used by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates to help build affordable housing in Brown County.

“These types of materials are vital to the success of Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity ReStore,” said Colleen Peters, Program and Marketing Manager for the organization, “They will be sold to the public and the profits raised from their sale will be used to fulfill our mission of building homes, communities and hope.”
